This blog is mainly a place where I can record my current interests. It is also a place where I can showcase my current projects, obtain inspiration, keep track of suppliers, and the many other little things that make-up who I am and what I am presently about.

Interesting poem.
Antics of the Mini Stay Puft Marshmallow Men having just hijacked a tractor and trailer.
Great addition to the Ghost Busters franchise.
‘Frequently it pays to look first for the characteristics of devices in use which may be such that an essential pragmatic approach offers the best chance to success. It often is possible to solve an accident of malfunction problem with straightforward and uncomplicated approaches, deliberately ignoring their more subtle aspects.’ “
Haigh Company Employee HandbookI found these guys hanging out on the underside of this chair. A green rubber-like dino, a cute little "rubber" duck, and a plastic spike dude. A few more additions for my "lost & found" collection.
This figure stands approximately 90mm tall. It is cast from a sturdy PVC like plastic and with an articulate head, arms, legs, and tail. This figure like the others of this mini-series was lost and found. Although I have seen these figures before somewhere out in popular culture, I do not have the foggiest idea where that might have been. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Two Nine Lines Narrow Gauge Boxcars, Under Construction.
I purchased three box cars and two gondolas from Nine Lines years ago. The boxcar on the left is almost completed and the one on the right is under way. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be availble anylonger.
They come complete with trucks, wheels, and even a couple of detail parts and they are very easily constructed.

“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'”
—Isaac Asimov"Knowledge is power, however, a little knowledge in the wrong hands is dangerous. Knowledge will make us more human and allow for more humility within oneselfs. This is the opposite of education, which should aim to make people, no matter how smart or accomplished they are, learners for the rest of their lives. Rather, we now live in a society where the acquisition of even a little learning is the endpoint, rather than the beginning, of education. And this is a dangerous thing."
There are eight little lovelies in Demiak's Deepwater Horizon exhibit. The shack models are especially inspirational.

She wishes to be know as spooky.
One of the only two times where Wednesday showed any kind of emotion. This was after witnessing the monster mauling her classmate.
