All Things Miniature

This a tumbler site depicting the authors collection of miniature things. The authors takes ordinary things and creates miniature works of art. As the authors mentions: "This blog is dedicated to my devotion to miniature things".

It is a shame that this site has not been updated for sometime. Perhaps the author will pick up again and deliver more of thier curious discoveries.

James Pridham's Miniature Village

Pridham is the creator of "Safe Harbor", an incredibly detailed miniature village, which took more 4,000 hours to build. Each individual component of Safe Harbor is built from scratch. I admire Pridham's fortitude and dedication. His work is truly inspiration.

The Crew of the Flying Dutchman

Last month I made a post on the Pirates of the Caribbean Wiki-Davy Jones, where I mentioned that Davy Jones was the captain of the Flying Dutchman, a mystical ship that first appeared in Pirates of the Caribbean’s Dead Man's Chest.

Recently I came upon this gallery of the Crew of the Flying Dutchman where it describes some of the crew of this infamous ship. If the persona of Davy Jones wasn’t enough to give you the creeps the rest the crew is sure to push you over the edge.

Ghost Town Gallery

The Ghost Town Gallery features dozens of images of abandoned western mine towns located in Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Montana, Arizona, and Utah. These towns like Bodie CA, Stedman CA, Glendale MT, and Clarkdale AZ, once were populated with people and flourished when precious metals, like gold, silver, and lead, were abundant. Once the metals gave way they were abandoned and left to decay.

Marx Spacemen Gallery

I have been collecting since I was a child. I collected coins, stamps, and knifes. Now, I am collecting miniatures. It seems I also enjoy viewing the collections of others. Marxchivist has a small collection of Marx spacemen (and creatures). The Louis Marx Company produced many types of toys and toy trains between the years of 1919 and 1978, including these spacemen displayed on this Flickr page.
