More greeblies from XPS foam.
This blog is mainly a place where I can record my current interests. It is also a place where I can showcase my current projects, obtain inspiration, keep track of suppliers, and the many other little things that make-up who I am and what I am presently about.

Lost & Found - A Foamcore Glider
With its packaging giving a short history lesson on the glider I recently found this glider unassembled. I fits in my palm with room to spare.
It is colorful, lite weight - made of foamcore, small, and yes it can fly. It flys very well and I really need to give it a try out of doors. There is a number five on its tail, indicating there are five different models to collect. THe packaging says the same. It looks like Kids meal premium.

Gold Mine Diorama #2
If you look down in the comments you will find a link to another mine diorama. This mine diorama was the inspiration for the one the author created in this video. It might not be as elaborate, but it is just as inspirational. What I especailly liked about this authors rendering was the authors use of balsa wood for the creation of his mining buildings top side and his skillfull use of styrofoam for his terrain, that is the mine.

The Styrofoam Egg Carton Hut
I created this file to remind me of the different materials I want to use and types of shacks I had planned on building. This file was created about three years a go to the day. I cannot say what I had in mind when I typed styrofoam egg carton hut. I have been thinking on using other materials for construction purposes and I want to create something out of the ordinary, however I do not remeber what my brain process was with the 'Styrofoam egg carton hut'?
