2010 Odyssey Two, Arthur C. Clarke, 1968
When I found a copy of Arthur C. Clarke's 2010 Odyssey Two I knew I had to read "A Space Odyssey 2001" first. 2010 Odyssey Two endeavors to answer the many mysteries that A Space Odyssey 2001 left us to ponder.
I think they did a movie too, not that long ago, which I still haven't seen, nor have I read the third book (2035?), but I've read the first two and seen 2001 a few times!

I haven't seen the second movie nor have read the latest. From what I gather from commentary and having read both books, the movie is quite different then the books.
