Screen shots are from James Bond, 007 Live and Let Die (1973).
This blog is mainly a place where I can record my current interests. It is also a place where I can showcase my current projects, obtain inspiration, keep track of suppliers, and the many other little things that make-up who I am and what I am presently about.

The Mote in God's Eye
"A black hole in space. And piercing through, a beam of ruby light brighter than a hundred moons.
Was it the eye on the face of God, or the blood-red sun of our first intergalactic vistors?"

Refinery Equipment in Miniature
It has been some while since I made any posts on storage tanks. The author has created some refinery euipment in miniature using styrene and some randum bits. Although the scale is not mentioned I did find this link when searching for 6mm. Whatever its scale (size) the stucture is small and looks like a functional terrain piece.

Implements of Carnage for My Gas Lands Vehicles
Although I am flush with third party gribble I having nothing against improvising when the need arises. This piece of plastic looks like it might have been part of some type of packaging.
I cut off a chunk of it and repuposed its use. I fashioned it into a ram with a large nasty knife sharp edge and affixed it to the front bumper. It can be used for vehicles or other purposes. The vechicle is still under development and not quite ready for the Gas Lands. It needs to be fitted with a few other implements of carnage.

Illusions
"How does the fool build his paradise?-out of crumbling bricks of illusion and the watery cement of hope..."

More Signs From Above
The Evitable Conflict
The Day of the Mechanical Man
Prophetic glimpses of a strange and threatening tomorrow.
“’But you are telling me, Susan, that the “Society for Humanity” is right; and that Mankind has lost its own say in its future.'
‘It never had it really. It was always at the mercy of economic and societal forces it did not understand-Machines understand them; and no one can stop them, since the Machines will deal with them as they are dealing with the Society-having, as they do, the greatest weapon at their disposal, the absolute control of our economy.’
‘How horrible!’
‘Perhaps how wonderful!’ "

From Russia with Love
A scene from the James Bond movie "From Russia with Love", I believe. If life could just be so idyllic.

Food on the go never tasted so fast
Here two more odd and unsual Hot Wheels "Fast Foodie" vehicles.
"Feed your need for speed in this cupcake themed racer, where every trip down the track could lead to sweet, sweet victory."

Quantum of Solace
It looks like Microsoft Surface
They would have it interfaced with their data sets. All quite steller.

Bill Makes Stuff Channel
I came across one of Bill's vidoes that other day and traced it back to his channel. The channel contains a few dozen vidoes depicting the author workig of his various projects. I haven't had time to watch many of these videos but the few that I have, have been very intersting and inspirational.

Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad Steam Engine
I was up early today and out of the house to catch sight of a newly restored Steam Engine. I am sorry, but did not do my homework to find out what type of steam engine it was, nor its wheel configuration. As you can see I wasn't the only person interested in its appearence.

Fusion Busta - Gas Lands Vehicle #1
Fusion Busta, HCT92 is from Hot Wheels Dream Garage series. I am considering using some of this series for my Gas Lands vehicles
My first attempt at a Gaslands vehicle. I added a a twin 30 cal. machine guns, a harpon, and a serrated rear bumper. The original paint job was too pretty to tamper with, so I only gave the body a little weathering.
