The Start of Another Robot Vermin, #3 ; Materials

Materials for my next robot vermin unit. Most of the materials come from my plastic bits collections. The materials sit on top os a very thin sheet to styrene sheet, this will be used as material for shims.

All that is needed is some paint.

I used material from a sprue like this for the robots appendages.

Stanley stands tall next to the little robot. That is American quarter between the two of thmm.

Change of Plans

I was planning on adding a propulsion system unit to this drone, but have changed my mind. Instead, I am going to add a set of mechanical appendages. The propulsion system unit will be completed saved for a future project.

It Caught my Eye - I am Inspired

From a recent browse on Pinterest, this structure cuaght my eye. Appretly this structure resides somewhere in an urban environment. With its extreme ramsackal appearence I thought it might be fun to build someday. I wonder if I would have enough material on hand?

Buildable and Greeble Bits, Collection #2

This is greeble container #2 and is comprised mostly of my homemade greeblies.

In the top far left there are some red specks that were recently created by cutting a leftover section of red tubing into small ovals. There are also some small bits of polystyrene strips. To the right are some bits I cut from plastic bread ties, and to the right of thaese are a collection repurposed HO gauge locootive detail parts that are still on the sprue.

A Versatile Fix-it All Bot

As found in Run Silent

This is one of three such robots featured in "Run Silent", a science fiction film created in 1972. These robots were generally used for repair work, inside and outside of the spaceship, but could be repurposed for work in the surgery or in the horticulture pod.

Robot Vermin # 2 Under Construction

I never get as much done as I had hoped, but at least, I did make some progress.

I am working on the propulsion system unit.

If I can stop adding bits of greegle I might have completed the unit by now.

Robot Vermin #2

I have started my second robot vermin unit and is being built from a drawing. That being said, the unit has already undergone a few unconscious changes during construction.
