I have had these specimens for sometime. They are not all that easy to photograph for they do not stay still (several of them have rounded bottoms). I have labeled them "Hare’s and Rabbits", not really knowing what type of creatures they are. They sort of resemble a rabbit. All I know is they stand at the average of 30mm, are moulded out of PVC plastic and are kind of sweet, in their own way.
This blog is mainly a place where I can record my current interests. It is also a place where I can showcase my current projects, obtain inspiration, keep track of suppliers, and the many other little things that make-up who I am and what I am presently about.

Interesting Specimen
I was out rock-hounding the other day and came across this very interesting specimen. It looks like a piece of iron ore with come small bits of coal crystals attached to the iron ore. In addition, there were two translucent blogs attached to the rock. The growths are about 30mm long and very sticky to touch and quite rubber like.

Descent Journeys in the Dark – Barghest
The miniature stands 30mm tall and is 45mm long and is made of a hard plastic; polyethylene? The Barghest, otherwise known as “yeth-hounds," "black dogs “or” barghests" are monsters found in the Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition) base game. Barghests are feared throughout Terrinoth; once the barghest has the scent of their prey, they don't stop hunting until it is dead or they are killed.

Descent Journeys in The Dark - Zombie
This zombie stands approximately 33mm, is cast in a hard plastic and acts that part of either a master or a minion in the Descent Journeys in The Dark board game. The zombies of this game have three abilities: shambling, grabbing, and spreading disease. (“If this attack deals at least 1 Heart (after the defense roll), the target is diseased.”)

D&D Castle Ravenloft- Undead Zombie
This hard plastic zombie miniature stands approximately 30mm tall and is one of the many miniatures included in Wizards of the Coast, Dungeons & Dragons, Castle Ravenloft, board game.
This is one ghoulish looking character: “If the zombie is within 1 tile of a Hero, it moves adjacent to the closest Hero and attacks that Hero with a rotting fist.”

Yochlol Handmaiden of Lolth
The Yochlol Handmaiden of Lolth is a creature found in Wizards of the Coast’s Dungeons & Dragons: The Legend of Drizzt. This Board Game was first published in 2011. This hard plastic miniature stands approximately 30mm tall and is molded in grey.
Yochlols can be seen in one of the following forms: humanoid, spider, ooze, and gaseous. In their natural form they are six-foot-tall, and are an eight-tentacle blob of melted wax that emits a foul stench. Each of the four forms has its own forms of attack. All forms “Yochlol are chaotic evil creatures.”

Three Trolls from the Age of Mythology Board Game
The three hard plastic Trolls stand 30mm and are from the Norse collection of figures included in the Age of Mythology board game. Trolls are from Scandinavian and Nordic tradition and mythology. Trolls are very large creatures and stand between 8 to 10 feet tall. Although not very intelligent they are unscrupulous when it comes to something they want and have no problem, taking, stealing, fighting, or shedding blood for what they desire.

Hinterland Miniatures
I received my order of five bulky pulp figures from Hinterland Miniatures the other day. The figures stand about 30mm from the soles of their feet to the top of their heads. They are very finely detailed and will require very little clean up. I haven’t had time to take my own pictures yet, so I have included a link to the picture of the five online. The five figures will be added to my growing collection of pulp figures.
