I found the data sheet for these miniature Bottles and Jars. They are available from Scale Structures.
When searching for this page I came across a mention of Bottles and Jars so I am going to create a "Bottles and Jars" label.
This blog is mainly a place where I can record my current interests. It is also a place where I can showcase my current projects, obtain inspiration, keep track of suppliers, and the many other little things that make-up who I am and what I am presently about.

Mentions many ancient libraries. Why are we so afraid of knowledge?
I have created a new label or collection : libraires where I will feaure videos and links to articles on libraires and links to libraires of note..
Here are three sub-collections that perhaps I should have created a lables for:
As I slowly transition to the plans I have for the New Year I am pulling together another reading list, this will be my early and mid-winters reading list. I have wanted to get back the character of Allan Quatermain and will add these three novels to this list.
These three novels-Marie, Child of Storm, and Finished-form the Zulu Trilogy in which the Zulu wizard, Zikali, gains his revenge on the Zulu nation and its king, Cetawayo.
P.S. I realize that images have been rather scarce in this month posts and I do have some that could be posted, but then I must first write a corresponding post. It has lately been a bit difficult to get this done.
I was browsing Ebay the other day and found a metal HO gauge shack with a stove. I purchased the piece and will make my first post on a new series “Found, 10 Structures for Under $10 a piece”. I was surprised to find many of these economical priced models available. I am under no illusion; many of these structures will need some serious, kit-bashing, distressing and detailing to bring them up to par. It ought to be a fun exercise. Although finding structures in other scales and sizes for this price may be a bit of a stretch I may include structures of other scales and sizes.
I am getting bored with my current postings and I thought about getting back to some micro-miniatures posts.
I don’t really want to accumulate any more toys, but I did see two new play-sets recently at a local Dollar Tree. One of the play sets has a decent looking tank and the other with a very nice horse and covered wagon.
In addition, I still need small collection metal zombies to replace the card board ones that came with a board game that I purchased some time ago. These are on order along with a few micro-sized ships for war-gaming.
For the New Year 2016, I will keep my list of goals to minimum.
I have already taken in two new games in which I will be making posts very soon. One of the games features Zombies. The game contains a set of paper zombies and defenders.
I need to create properties and characteristics to my Hobbit and the monster miniatures I am in the process of completing.
In the past I have been accused of not providing enough images with my posts. I would like to answer this complaint and provide more media, of all types, to my posts.
Some of the game rules that I have obtained or plan to obtain make use of such characters. I do have a few Pulp figures, but would like to add rocket-men to my collection for I like the characteristics they may bring into game play. I would also like to take in some pirate and perhaps a few Wild/Weird West miniatures.
The Zombie game mentioned above is supplied with paper zombies and survivors that could be replaced with miniatures of the same type.
I am in much need supplies, like a set of paint brushes and color ink for my Ink Jet Printer.
Take the miniatures I already have on hand and combine them into interesting scenes.
Start to collect a few small plastic toys as they make come available. I am especially interested in small monster toys.
I have thought of running a series of posts on a particular topic or subject before, but haven’t been able to implement this in a fashion I am happy with. One topic would be covered exclusively over the course of a month. Material for the month would have to be completed a month in advance. That would mean a good 15 to 20 posts on one topic and would need to be ready to go before the start of the month or at least the majority of the months material would have to be ready to post.
I don’t know when I might get to implement a month long series, but I could conceivable sun short sets of series over the course of a few days or even a week. My first attempt will take place during the second week of January.

The addition to my ever growing list of labels is my Disembodied Spirits collection. The collection will encompass textual descriptions of disembodied spirits, images of ghosts and spirits, and the added characteristics and properties for spirit miniatures. For a starting point I will go back and pick-out occurrences from within the following texts:
So far I have identified two sources of spirit miniatures:
Halloween has its beginnings in the ancient Celtic festival of the dead. The Celtics carved Jack O' Lanterns out of turnips or beets and were carved to stave off unwanted visitors.
Here is a set of pumpkins that have set out well beyond their time adding to their dubious aspects.
This concludes my horror and otherwise themed month. Perhaps I will have other months with themed posts.
To celebrate the run-up to Halloween I have decided to make the month of October a theme month and will feature posts dedicated to all things creepy, horrifying and gruesome. I will be revisiting some of my earlier posts on these topics and will be making some new posts featuring monsters, horror, dragons, dudgeon crawl, and pumpkins.
As we approach the start of the third quarter of this year I am still in somewhat of slump. Having lost a good chunk of my income because of a provision in the Affordable Care Act my energies are being spent earning enough to pay the bills. There has been very little left for the non-essentials, however little, there may be, there will be something left to spend frivolously on my hobby desires in the upcoming quarter.
In the mean time I do have plenty to work on. Boxes and boxes of stuff to keep me busy until the end of my days, no doubt. Lately, I have had a spark of enthusiasm and a hankering to get back to some painting. I have few pieces that need to be completed; there are games, videos and readings to be reviewed, so I will continue to make posts, however not on par as month’s pasts. Just to keep my hand in, I should be able to make at least fifteen posts per month.
This post is being made to institute a new policy concerning my Print and Play label. In the past I have used this label to identify games ranging from print and play board games to RPG games. RPG’s will no longer be identified as print and play games, unless that RPG includes printable game tokens or some other types of components for the RPG.
My Games Works 28mm Bretonnian Horse is complete. I still do not have a place for this miniature, but eventually it will be used in some scene. This miniature went together easily.
Recently, I went back through a few of my earlier posts and added a “horse” label. It really is a lot easier to add the appropriate labels as you go, but sometimes I don’t have enough foresight as to the needs of posts in the future.
I have been weeding through my list of labels and blog posts recently and have gotten rid of a few posts and label topics that I don’t see myself ever adding to. In addition, where I had duplicate entries because of misspelled or mistyped label names I corrected these entries. I am sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.
A few weeks ago I relabeled a post I had made about a couple of horse drawn wagons I wanted to build in 2104. At that time I had used one label called ancient Rome. Since then I have decided to use a label Ancients as it will better suit my needs.
I had no intention, at first, to model ancients, but with the Roman Nobelman's Chariot and am planning on purchasing a Macedonian War Elephant. I felt these models would be fun to build. Why else would purchase a particular model?
In addition, I just received a set of Persians from the Wargame Factory. Wargame Factory is offering a set of six sprue with a total of twelve 28mm Persians with assorted equipment, ETC; more about these plastic figures in an upcoming post. Who knows what other interests might perk my curiosity and add to my miniature collection?
