We have been down this road once before. This another rendition of Zombies Verses Plants. And as far as I am concerned these are better looking constructs than the former.
A few more of these PVC miniatures.
This blog is mainly a place where I can record my current interests. It is also a place where I can showcase my current projects, obtain inspiration, keep track of suppliers, and the many other little things that make-up who I am and what I am presently about.

It has been awhile since my last encounter with his excellency Dr. Fu-Manchu.
Previously ->
"During the Cold War of the 1950s former allies Russia and China turned Communist. Their threat casting a shadow over the free world. Yet another enemy lurked in the shadows - the deadly secret assassin's of the Si Fan led by Dr. Fu-Manchu."
"In remote northern China, the dead walk again. An American agent, Tony MacKay finds himself face to face with these 'cold-men', zombies who exist to do the bidding of Fu-Manchu, the devil Doctor. "

White Walker Chief, Game of Thrones
"In that darkness the White Walkers came for the first time. They swept through cities and kingdoms, riding their dead horses, hunting with their packs of pale spiders big as hounds."
I had hoped to get this posted last month as one of my horror posts. Although I still have a few posts remaining for this year, I am rethinking my purpose for this blog. Don't seem to get the same feeling of accomplishment as I once did.
These 25mm Reaper Dark Heaven Legends (#03604) are cast from metal. The two miniatures represent a Billy and Earnest will be added to my ever growing collection zombie characters.
There are a few of this mix being used for a work in process, but there were 21 mixed 18mm zombies in this collection and I counted seven unique sculps within their ranks. I measured these up against a HO gauge figure and these 18mm miniatures can easily take the place of a 1/87 miniature. I never thought I would have
Game of Thrones season six and the episode seven
episode seven. One of Daenerys Targaryen’s dragons is shot down by a javelin throwing white-walker. The dragon crashes into a frozen lake only to be dragged out by an army of the undead. A white-walker touches the dead dragon and it becomes a undead dragon.
This is kind of a late blog entry. I had wanted to make this post last month; a more fitting time period, with Halloween and all. At any rate, here are some of the lovelies; the only few that were photogenic. It was very hard to keep them contained and they were always wandering off.
The package includes fourteen plastic miniatures that stand approximately two inches tall. My package included thirteen unique miniatures including two tombstones and two different dogs. The miniatures feature some nice detail.

I was browsing Ebay the other day and found a metal HO gauge shack with a stove. I purchased the piece and will make my first post on a new series “Found, 10 Structures for Under $10 a piece”. I was surprised to find many of these economical priced models available. I am under no illusion; many of these structures will need some serious, kit-bashing, distressing and detailing to bring them up to par. It ought to be a fun exercise. Although finding structures in other scales and sizes for this price may be a bit of a stretch I may include structures of other scales and sizes.
I am getting bored with my current postings and I thought about getting back to some micro-miniatures posts.
I don’t really want to accumulate any more toys, but I did see two new play-sets recently at a local Dollar Tree. One of the play sets has a decent looking tank and the other with a very nice horse and covered wagon.
In addition, I still need small collection metal zombies to replace the card board ones that came with a board game that I purchased some time ago. These are on order along with a few micro-sized ships for war-gaming.
I am not sure who originally marketed these miniatures, but I have a hunch that these five zombie and plant miniatures are not some of those. These are cheap Chinese copies. They are molded from what looks like PVC plastic. These figures stand approximately three inches tall and come with a verity of weaponry.
There is a saw, hatched, sword and shield, and a pirate flag that fit into the zombie’s hands. In addition, there is one plant-pea-shooter and a bag of peas. There are yet two other accessories that I am having a hard time making heads or tails of. There is that yellow item (see package shot) and what looks like a door of some sort.
The six zombies are made from some form of ridged plastic and they stand approximately four inches tall. In addition, their bodies and torsos can be switched out and their heads, torsos, and arms can be moved into a verity of positions. Over all I am quite happy with my new set of zombie figures and they make a nice addition to my ever-expanding collection. However, I do have two gripes, the first, the majority do not stand on their own and second, whoever painted these figures should take some painting lessons. They are painted awfully. I thought I might try my hand at making them look a little more presentable.
This highly detailed model includes 112 pieces and represents the AMC Walking Dead Hospital Doors “Don’t Open, Dead Inside” scene. There is also a articulated Rick Grimes in a hospital gown figure. The model kit is manufactured by Mc Farlane.
These two joke cards are from the Bicycle Zombie playing card deck and are illustrated by Rob Sacchetto. There are fifty-four different zombies included on this deck. The two joker cards are just a preview.
I have acquired four more zombies for the museums’ Zombie collection and exhibits. The four zombies are cast from vinyl and were manufactured for Global Holdings, Inc. The Zombitzz zombies stand anywhere from 2.5 to 3.5 inches tall (at least from the sampling that I have). These four zombies are from series 1. There are twenty zombies in this series.
Every zombie has one “gruesome” feature in its skull. You may find ink stamps, erasers, or a super-ball, to name just a few. These figures are well detailed and painted. Whether it is still available or not I don’t know, but there is or was a Zombiezz app for some virtual fun.
Although I acquired these specimens some time ago I am just now getting around to making a post on these miniatures. The miniatures stand approximately two inches tall and are cast from a hard plastic. The detail on these miniatures is outstanding; however the paint job on some of these hombres is anything but stellar.
This zombie stands approximately 33mm, is cast in a hard plastic and acts that part of either a master or a minion in the Descent Journeys in The Dark board game. The zombies of this game have three abilities: shambling, grabbing, and spreading disease. (“If this attack deals at least 1 Heart (after the defense roll), the target is diseased.”)
This hard plastic zombie miniature stands approximately 30mm tall and is one of the many miniatures included in Wizards of the Coast, Dungeons & Dragons, Castle Ravenloft, board game.
This is one ghoulish looking character: “If the zombie is within 1 tile of a Hero, it moves adjacent to the closest Hero and attacks that Hero with a rotting fist.”
Recently I came across a webpage that featured Zombie Planet zombie miniatures, the same ones that I made a post on earlier this year. The page mentions that Hoppin Hydros originally manufactured these miniatures back in in 2011. The page also goes on to introduce each of the miniatures by name and give a brief bio on each of the zombies.
