This is one of histrofigs 25mm miniatues from their Blasted Planets Special Figures line. I finally got some paint on it. I reviewed a few of these miniatures back here and here.

Blasted Planets 25mm Miniatures

As I have mentioned in an earlier post Blasted Planets Special Figures is just one collection of miniatures from the larger Blasted Planets line.  There so many different variations of miniatures. Some with humanoid bodies, some a mix of an animal and human forms, while other sub-collections of strictly human forms. Blasted Planets has an interesting collection of miniatures here for use with the Blasted Planet game rules or some pulp scenario.

Blasted Planet’s 25mm Special Figures

As I have mentioned in an earlier post, I recently acquired a few additional Blasted Planets Special Figures. Blasted Planets is a line of products from Histroifigs. There are nine miniatures in this collection. I made a post on three Blasted Planet miniatures sometime back, which included two Chickasaurus, also from the Blasted Planet line and Agent Annya Nova from the Special Figure collection. At the time Agent Nova was the only woman in my collection.

Blasted Planets Order #2

My order from Historifigs arrived a few days earlier than expected. It contained the following items:

Overall I am very satisfied with these miniatures. I have made many posts on monsters, but have yet to add one to my collection. The 25mm miniatures will be used in a skirmish game of some sort or with the Blasted Planets game rules. They are all very odd looking and I am looking forward to creating properties and a back story for these characters.

I will be writing more about these miniatures shortly, but in the meantime, I feel compelled to paint my first hobbit. I will get back to you on the progress of these miniatures.

Another Blasted Planet Miniature Completed

This is my forth Blasted Planet miniature that I have completed. The Wooly Bool resembles the now extinct Mammuthus, proboscideans, which once roamed Europe, Asia, and America and northern Mexico

The miniature comes in two parts, the body and tusks. I used cyanoacrylate to glue the tusk in place. The body casting included a spot for the tusk piece that had been molded into the body.

My First Set of Blasted Planets Miniatures

I have just completed my first set of HistroFigs miniatures. The three 25mm miniatures required very little attention. The castings were crisp and without any noticeable flash or parting lines. The three I chose to complete were from HistroFigs SCIFI Blasted Planet line: Agent Annya Nova, BP-001, and two Chickasaurus, BP-1700. The Chickasaurus are some sort of extraterrestrial creatures.





Since anything goes when dealing with SCIFI figures I had fun painting these miniatures, in that I didn’t have to worry too much about what a “real “ Chickasaurus looked like I could choose my colors according to my taste and whim.

My idea for a scene, using the three miniatures was having Annya facing off the Chickasaurus with her blow gun (blaster). You can get the basic idea from the image; however, I would like to add proper base materials and background image to complete the scene.
